Based on a divided network camera concept and compatible with the Axis F9111 and F9114 main units, this compact sensor provides users with a choice of resolution and framerate, delivering both 720p at up to 180 fps and 1080p at up to 60 fps (dependent on connected main unit). For flexible positioning, the sensor can be fitted up to 30m away from the main unit, ideal for deployment in small spaces. As the sensor is under 30 mm in diameter, it provides the ideal solution for areas that require truly unobtrusive monitoring.

Camera

Equipped with a 3.1 mm lens, this sensor unit captures a 108° field of view for detailed wide area coverage. Suitable for use both indoors and outdoors, the F2105-RE’s casing is IP66/67/IP6K9K-rated for protection against high-pressure hot water and dust. Using SMA-FAKRA connection to the main unit, the sensor is able to withstand vibrations – delivering clear video even if the unit is situated in a vehicle.

Imaging

This sensor captures detailed video in a range of light conditions, thanks to the onboard imaging technologies that are supported by the main unit. With a built-in IR-cut filter, 24-hour video capture is possible and night-time footage is improved with Lightfinder technology – providing full-colour video in near darkness. In overexposed scenes, Forensic WDR balances lighting to ensure that all details can be seen.

Installation

Designed for indoor and outdoor use, this rugged sensor can withstand temperatures between -40°C and 70°C – making it reliable for areas prone to extreme temperature changes. To aid its versatile and straightforward installation, there is a range of accessories available to facilitate wall, ceiling, parapet and pole mounting. Furthermore, the configuration takes place via the connected main unit, allowing video and analytics management for each connected sensor.
