Overview of the Axis P1275 Mk II indoor modular mini dome IP camera

Part of the Axis P12 Mk II series, this modular IP camera combines the Axis P12 Mk II main unit and a separate FA4115 dome sensor to provide unobtrusive, HD surveillance of indoor locations. The palm-sized dome sensor delivers HD 1080p resolution at full frame rate and features a varifocal lens which offers wide horizontal views of up to 99° for optimum scene coverage. Scenes with contrasting lighting are optimised with WDR - forensic capture. The dome can be easily mounted onto a wall or ceiling and manually rotated and tilted to provide the desired viewing direction. Users can also place the sensor unit up to 8m away from the main unit using a detachable cable. Easily installed via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), the camera also offers support for edge (SD card) storage and Zipstream technology.

Video Analytics

Featuring a DLPU for enhanced video analytics, this unit is capable of highly accurate motion detection and object classification. Configure alarms via your VMS to reliably inform users of detected activity in real-time, with granular identification and detection of humans, cars, buses, bikes and trucks. Thanks to the nuanced level of accuracy, false alarms are minimised allowing operators to focus on more important incidents and emergencies. Up to 10 scenarios can be run at once, including virtual line crossing, loitering warning and people counting, meaning users can develop actionable insights into business performance.

This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality of the camera to meet more distinct demands.
