Overview of the Axis P1245 Mk II indoor modular mini IP camera

• Modular IP camera consists of the Axis P12 Mk II unit and thumb-sized sensor

This modular IP camera builds on the previous Axis P1245 model, delivering unobtrusive surveillance of indoor locations in HD resolution. The thumb-sized sensor unit captures clear HD 1080p resolution images at full frame rate and offers a wide horizontal view of 111°, with WDR - forensic capture balancing areas with contrasting lighting. It's designed to be mounted in locations with very limited space and when used with the included flush mount bracket, can be easily fitted behind a metal, glass or plastic panel. For flexible installation options, the sensor can also be placed up to 8m away from the main unit using the included detachable cable, with longer lengths up to 15m available separately. Ready to be mounted straight out of the box with the included accessories, support for PoE facilitates both power and network connectivity over a single cable for simplified installation.

Video Analytics

The powerful Axis Object Analytics (AOA) comes preinstalled for highly accurate motion detection and object classification. Featuring a built-in DLPU, its deep learning AI-based algorithm can classify objects such as people, cars, buses, trucks and bikes with granular precision, resulting in fewer false alarms. Objects are visualised on screen in bounding boxes, and operators receive notifications of user-defined events in real-time for improved security and insights into business performance. Up to 10 analytics scenarios can be run simultaneously including virtual line crossing, loitering warning and occupancy in area.

This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality of the camera to meet more distinct demands.
