Building on the previous Axis P1265 model, this Mk II variant modular IP camera consists of the Axis P12 Mk II main unit and a separate Axis FA1125 pinhole sensor to deliver discreet CCTV surveillance in HD resolution. Mounted discreetly at eye-level, the ultra-compact sensor will provide clear and detailed face shots, which can be important in many use cases. Measuring less than 3cm in height, the ultra-compact sensor unit delivers high-quality HD 1080p resolution at up to 25 frames per second (fps). Scenes with contrasting lighting are optimised with WDR - forensic capture. Designed for unobtrusive installation in areas with very limited space, fit the sensor behind a metal, glass or plastic panel that is up to 5cm thick - using the included bracket.

Video Analytics

A variety of motion-based alarms can be configured to trigger edge recording and alert users of activity, whilst Axis Object Analytics (AOA) delivers highly accurate object classification. Identify persons, cars, buses, bikes and trucks with precision accuracy thanks to the unit's DLPU resulting in fewer false alarms. Run up to 10 analytics scenarios simultaneously including people counting, loitering warning and virtual line crossing. These allow operators to develop actionable insights into business performance whilst enhancing overall security. Users can also receive these alerts directly and in real-time to their mobile devices using the Axis Companion mobile app, or any supporting video management system.

This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality of the camera to meet more distinct demands.
