Optimised for use with Milestone XProtect server installations, the Milestone Husky 350T viewing station enables quick and easy access to live and recorded video via the XProtect Smart Client. Designed to be used with pre-licenced Milestone server systems, it comes preloaded with necessary Milestone XProtect VMS software to support all versions including Express+, Professional+, Expert and Corporate.
The Milestone Husky IVO series of viewing client workstations are built by Milestone Systems using Dell Technologies hardware expertise, Intel's processing power and NVIIA GPUs to achieve high quality, performance and reliability.
Workstation
Fitted with a 12th Generation Intel Core processor the unit delivers rapid data processing whilst ensuring greater system performance thanks to the Solid-State Drive (SSD). The powerful NVIDIA T1000 graphics card ensures high-quality video is consistently and rapidly rendered for smooth video footage. Connect up to 4 viewing monitors directly to the GPU via the 4 x Mini DisplayPorts to access multiple streams simultaneously. Local storage is included with 2 x 4TB HDD for storing snapshots and essential footage, backed up with software RAID for extra redundancy.
Additionally, 10 x USB ports enables the use of peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard or control system for easy navigation of camera channels and playback control. The 3.5mm audio connection provides the ability to listen in to live or recorded video for greater scene awareness.
Recommended Usage
For streams in 1080p HD resolution up to 25 fps, the overall recommendation is to use one 4K monitor with up to 5 x 5 simultaneous streams, or 2 x 4K monitors with up to 3 x 3 streams on each monitor for smooth performance. Streams in lower frame rates will result in the workstation being able to support more simultaneous streams.
Tested at 25 fps per stream, the chart below shows fully compliant configurations in green. Yellow indicates configurations where users may experience some streams dropping below the number of acceptable frames.
Installation
The tower desktop form factor means this unit can be installed neatly in areas with limited space or where there is no rack available. As Milestone XProtect comes preinstalled, integration is effortless with the Husky Assistant automatically choosing the applicable version of XProtect for you, and fetching the latest versions online if connected to the internet.
Please note: This workstation is designed for use as a viewing client alongside Milestone XProtect VMS. It is not suitable for use as a recording server.
