Reliable and designed to easily fit on top of a desk or mounted to a wall, the i-PRO WJ-NU301KG network video recorder supports 16 i-PRO camera channels (or third-party brands via ONVIF) at up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second (fps). Suitable for continuous or larger-scale recording, this unit supports up to 36TB of storage over two hard drive disks (select HDD from dropdown menu), providing enough storage for round-the-clock monitoring. Furthermore, the recorder supports RAID 1 redundancy, creating a copy of the hard disk to reduce data loss and downtime in the event of drive failure.

NVR

This NVR features a specially designed Linux operating system for efficient navigation and management of footage. A range of built-in USB and HDMI ports enable peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse or joystick to be connected, as well as up to two 4K monitors – allowing the recorder to work as a standalone system without the need for an additional PC. An integrated 16-port PoE+ switch allows cameras to connect directly to the NVR and receive both power and network connection from one place without the need for additional accessories. Moreover, the unit is embedded with a FIPS 140-2 level 3 certified secure element, and GlobalSign certificates are preinstalled, safeguarding it from security threats, and protecting important data.

Video management

Navigating the system and adjusting settings to meet a user’s requirements is straightforward with the recorder’s GUI. Several recording modes are available including continuous, scheduled, event (with up to 15-second pre-event) and emergency, allowing flexible recording, whatever the application. Additionally, searching for specific footage is made more efficient with a range of search criteria, enabling users to search through recordings for a specific time and date, by designating a timeline or by searching through thumbnails.

Video analytics

Individual analytics settings can be configured for each camera, directly on the recorder, and notifications can be managed and responded to in one place – Providing users with an overview of activity across the entire system. Additional devices can be connected via the NVR’s I/O ports to enable features such as two-way audio or to enhance alarm signalling for greater scene awareness. Digital PTZ functionality is available to provide quick and precise navigation of each camera view.

Installation
