The advanced V5925 is an ideal choice for users who require professional video and audio streaming of live events. It is equipped with pan/tilt functionality (340° pan/110° tilt), as well as powerful 30x optical zoom and adjustable zoom speed – making it ideal for responsively following a subject’s movements during live events. The unit can be connected to a range of external devices to help meet users’ requirements for audio and video. Integrated HDMI ports allow the connection of a local HD monitor to display live footage from the camera. It also features professional balanced XLR inputs meaning it supports the connection of studio-grade microphones and speakers (not included), as well as 3.5mm input/output for further flexibility when selecting audio hardware – enabling the use of high-quality two-way audio as a complement to live video footage.
P-iris technology adjusts the iris opening to optimise image quality in locations with constantly changing light, while autofocus automatically adjusts the focus of the lens to help ensure clear image quality and offer flexibility in isolating and recording specific areas of the scene. In addition, 12x digital zoom means that specific regions of the original image can be examined in greater detail.
This quality model features the Axis ARTPEC-7 chipset which gives users the ability to utilise high-performance analytics applications such as Axis PTZ Autotracking. This handy function enables the camera to automatically zoom in on and follow the movements of a subject within the field of view. Video motion detection methods can also be configured that can be used to trigger certain tasks such as moving the camera directly to a pre-set location to ensure all activity is captured, as well as to begin streaming footage when the camera is used in conjunction with the CamStreamer live streaming application. Additionally, the Axis Camera Application Platform (ACAP) is supported, meaning users can install further analytics applications from Axis or third-party developers.
Edge storage provides a handy backup of data in the event of a network connection failure (MicroSD card not included) and storage to network-attached storage devices (NAS) is also supported for applications with larger storage requirements. Free remote access to the unit is possible via the Axis Companion mobile application. For further functionality, the camera can be easily integrated with high-performance video management software applications such as Axis Camera Station or Milestone XProtect.
The versatile unit’s open interface means it can be easily integrated with other existing systems, so can be used in a wide range of applications. It is also equipped with a 12V power supply.
