This high-quality IP camera is specifically designed for broadcasting live webcasts or playback of recorded events such as university classes, conference talks and church services. The camera supports a range of webcasting formats – allowing users to stream to social media platforms like Facebook and Youtube when used in conjunction with the CamStreamer App. The unit also features the advanced Axis ARTPEC-7 chipset which helps to enhance the camera’s performance. Further features include pan/tilt functionality with powerful 20x optical zooming, support for broadcast quality two-way audio, HDMI outputs and edge storage support (microSD card not included).
Ideal for users requiring professional video and audio streaming of live indoor events, the advanced V5938 records 4K Ultra HD resolution video at up to 25 fps – 24 hours a day. It features pan/tilt functionality (340° pan/110° tilt) alongside 20x optical zooming and adjustable zoom speed. This allows users to responsively follow a subject’s movements during a live event. HDMI ports enable the unit to be connected to a local display monitor while its professional balanced XLR inputs mean users can connect studio-grade microphones and speakers (sold separately). In addition, 3.5mm input/output provides further flexibility when selecting audio hardware.
Autofocus automatically adjusts the focus of the lens to help ensure clear image quality and offer flexibility in isolating and recording specific areas of the scene and 12x digital zoom means that specific areas of the scene can easily be examined in greater detail.
This advanced IP camera features the Axis ARTPEC-7 chipset, giving users the ability to utilise high-performance analytics applications such as Axis PTZ Autotracking. This smart function enables the camera to automatically zoom-in on and follow the movements of a subject within the field of view. A CamStreamer 3-month trial licence is also included, and video motion detection methods can be configured to trigger certain tasks such as beginning the stream via CamStreamer App or moving the camera directly to a pre-set position. Additionally, the Axis Camera Application Platform (ACAP) is supported, meaning users can install further analytics applications from Axis or third-party developers.
Onboard storage provides a backup of data if the network fails (microSD card not included) and storage to network attached storage devices (NAS) is also supported for applications with larger storage requirements. Sophisticated video management is possible through integration with high-performance video management software such as Axis Camera Station and Milestone XProtect. Users can also implement a cloud-based solution via the intuitive Morphean Cloud CCTV platform or CamStreamer Cloud.
The high-quality unit is equipped with a 12V power supply and features an open interface, meaning it can be easily integrated with other existing systems.
