As the highest-resolution model in the X66 series, the i-PRO X66700-Z3S produces superior quality 4K video at up to 30fps. It features i-PRO’s innovative new PTZ form factor, making it sleeker and more compact than its predecessors and is engineered for use in maritime applications. The camera’s casing is ISO 14993 compliant, protecting it from salt erosion and allowing it to operate in coastal regions where it will be in contact with salt water, sprays and aerosols. Built to withstand repeated, high-speed movements, the camera’s durable P/T mechanism ensures a longer lifespan with more frequent use. Built with a powerful AI processor at the edge, this unit performs advanced analysis of objects and their behaviour, reporting back precise information and enabling more accurate scene awareness and detection alarms. Furthermore, data security is of the utmost importance and, as with all of i-PRO’s latest models, this camera is equipped with enhanced cybersecurity features, including a FIPS 140-2 level 3 certified secure element and pre-installed signed certificates.

Imaging and Optics

Offering high-speed and precise navigation over an open outdoor area, the i-PRO X66700-Z3S features full PTZ functionality, including 360° endless panning and 90° tilt range, making it possible to gain a full overview of large environments. The camera’s 30x optical zoom also enables close inspection of areas of interest for a greater level of insight. Additionally, you can adjust the 4.5mm - 135mm varifocal lens at installation to set your desired horizontal view between 2.5° and 62°. In windy or vibrating conditions, the camera’s gyro image stabiliser keeps footage clear and free from motion blur. True day/night capability with an automatic IR-cut filter enables 24-hour monitoring and, in dimly lit environments, down to 0.012 lux, the camera can produce full-colour footage. Furthermore, WDR technology (up to 132 dB) helps improve images captured in strongly backlit scenes by compensating for bright light and dark shadows, making sure all details can be seen.

Video Analytics

With support for up to three simultaneous AI analytics applications directly on the camera, you can accurately detect, classify, and gather important metadata on objects and their behaviour. In addition to AI-based video motion and object detection, this camera also supports AI Occupancy Detection to help identify and alert you to instances of overcrowding and includes AI Privacy Guard to provide dynamic masking of moving objects. AI auto-tracking also enables intuitive tracking of a moving object around the viewing area, providing greater insight into key events and the behaviour of potentially suspicious individuals. Audio communication and enhanced alarm signalling are available when external devices are connected via the integrated I/O ports. Moreover, when used alongside Milestone XProtect VMS, you can install the free Active Guard plug-in to speed up the investigation process by quickly searching through attribute information of detected objects to find exactly the footage you need.

Installation and Mounting Options

Suitable for use in exposed outdoor areas, the camera’s durable aluminium casing is IP66 and IK10-rated for protection against harsh weather and vandalism, and the unit can be used in temperatures between –30 °C and 60 °C. Protected from extreme temperature fluctuations, the camera also has built-in heater and fan mechanisms to remove frost or cool the system down and keep it operable and an integrated dehumidifier system helps to prevent condensation building up on the dome cover, making sure footage is clear at all times. Designed for straightforward installation, PoE++ support reduces cabling and makes integration more manageable by delivering both high-capacity power and network connectivity via a single cable. Storage requirements are kept to a minimum with Smart Coding technology, a handy feature that reduces the bitrate of background footage, whilst keeping key objects in the foreground sharp.
