Along with others in the range, the i-PRO WV-X66300-Z4S introduces an innovative new PTZ design, offering a sleeker and more compact form factor than its predecessors. It delivers smooth 2MP resolution video at up to 60 frames per second, making it ideal for capturing fast-moving objects like vehicles.

Designed for maritime applications, the camera features an ISO 14993-compliant casing to resist salt erosion, ensuring reliable operation in coastal areas exposed to saltwater and sea spray. Its durable pan-tilt mechanism is built to handle frequent, high-speed movements, extending its lifespan for intensive use. Further, as it's powered by an advanced edge AI processor, this camera conducts sophisticated analysis of objects and their behavior, providing precise data for enhanced scene awareness and accurate detection alarms with few false detections.

Imaging and Optics

The i-PRO WV-X66300-Z4S provides high-speed, precise visual navigation around open outdoor areas, including with 360° endless panning and a 90° tilt range, enabling complete coverage of large environments. Its powerful 40x optical zoom allows for detailed inspections of specific areas within the scene.

Equipped with a 4.25mm–170mm varifocal lens, the camera can be configured during installation to deliver a horizontal field of view ranging from 2.0° to 65°. In challenging conditions like high winds or vibrations, the built-in gyro image stabiliser can ensure clear, blur-free footage.

The camera’s true day/night capability, with its automatic IR-cut filter, allows effective monitoring in light levels down to 0.001 lux, producing full-color images even in minimal light. Additionally, its advanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology ensures balanced detail in high-contrast scenes, making it ideal for environments with difficult lighting conditions.

Video Analytics

This camera supports up to two AI analytics applications simultaneously, enabling precise detection, classification, and metadata collection on objects and their behavior. In addition to AI-based video motion and object detection, it includes advanced features such as:

Suitable for use in exposed outdoor areas, the camera’s durable aluminium casing is IP66 and IK10-rated for protection against harsh weather and vandalism attempts, and the unit can be used in temperatures between –30 °C to 60 °C. Protected from extreme temperature fluctuations, the camera also has built-in heater and fan mechanisms to remove frost or cool the system down and keep it operable and an integrated dehumidifier system helps to prevent condensation from building up on the dome cover, making sure footage is clear. Designed for straightforward installation, PoE++ reduces cabling and makes integration more manageable by delivering both high-capacity power and network connectivity via a single cable. Storage requirements are kept to a minimum with Smart Coding technology, a handy feature that reduces the bitrate of background footage, whilst keeping key objects in the foreground sharp.
