Designed with i-PRO’s innovative new PTZ form factor, the camera is more sleek and more compact than its predecessors. Engineered specifically for maritime applications, its ISO 14993-compliant casing provides protection against salt erosion, ensuring reliable performance even in coastal environments with high exposure to saltwater. Built for durability and frequent use, the camera’s robust P/T mechanism withstands repeated high-speed movements, which enhances its overall lifespan. Equipped with a powerful AI processor at the edge, the WV-X66700-Z3LS performs advanced object analysis, delivering precise metadata for improved scene awareness and detection accuracy. Advanced imaging capabilities, including colour night vision and up to 200m IR illumination, ensure clear, high-quality footage in challenging lighting conditions, while WDR ensures balanced visibility in high-contrast environments.

Imaging and Optics

Offering high-speed and precise navigation of an open outdoor area, the i-PRO WV-X66700-Z3LS features full PTZ functionality, including 360° endless panning and 90° tilt range, making it possible to gain a full overview of large environments. The camera’s 30x optical zoom also enables you to inspect areas of interest closely for a greater level of insight. Additionally, you can adjust the 4.5mm - 135mm varifocal lens at installation to set your desired horizontal field of view between 2.5° and 62°. In windy or vibrating conditions, the camera’s gyro image stabiliser keeps footage clear and free from motion blur. Alongside true day/night recording, the camera features long-range (up to 200m) IR illumination to produce clear monochrome images in complete darkness and, in dimly lit environments and down to 0.012 lux the camera can produce full-colour footage. Furthermore, WDR technology helps improve images captured in strongly backlit scenes by compensating for bright light and dark shadows, making sure all details can be seen.

Video Analytics

With support for up to 3 simultaneous AI analytics applications directly on the camera, you can accurately detect, classify, and gather important metadata on objects and their behavior to enhance scene awareness. In addition to AI-based video motion and object detection, this camera supports AI Occupancy Detection, which helps identify and alert you to instances of overcrowding, as well as AI Privacy Guard, which provides dynamic masking of moving objects. AI auto-tracking enables intuitive, real-time tracking of moving objects across the viewing area, offering deeper insights into key events and the behavior of potentially suspicious individuals. Audio communication and enhanced alarm signaling are available via the integrated I/O ports when external devices are connected. Additionally, when used alongside Milestone XProtect VMS, the free Active Guard plug-in simplifies investigation by allowing quick access to metadata, enabling precise searches of detected object attributes to find exactly what is needed.

Installation and Mounting Options

Suitable for use in exposed outdoor areas, the camera’s durable aluminium casing is IP66 and IK10-rated for protection against harsh weather and vandalism, and the unit can be used in temperatures between –30 °C to 60 °C. Protected from extreme temperature fluctuations, the camera also has built-in heater and fan mechanisms to remove frost or cool the system down and keep it operable and an integrated dehumidifier system helps to prevent condensation from building up on the dome cover, making sure footage is clear. Designed for straightforward installation, PoE++ reduces cabling and makes integration more manageable by delivering both high-capacity power and network connectivity via a single cable. Storage requirements are kept to a minimum with Smart Coding technology, a handy feature that reduces the bitrate of background footage, whilst keeping key objects in the foreground sharp.
