The Hanwha Vision PNM-9084RQZ1 is an outdoor-ready multi-directional camera that features four individually adjustable sensors that deliver 2MP resolution video each at up to 50 frames per second. Complete with motorised PTRZ functionality, each sensor can be adjusted remotely with pan, tilt and rotate options – allowing optimum coverage to be easily achieved. Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+) support and Wisestream II compression technology.
Alongside support for true day/night recording with a built-in IR-cut filter, each 2MP sensor provides motorised varifocal views between 33° and 109° allowing the desired viewing angle to be remotely set during installation. Additionally, each sensor includes an individually adjustable IR LED that illuminates up to 30m from the camera, enhancing video capture in dark conditions.
The PNM-9084RQZ1 produces high-quality images by utilising a variety of advanced features for image optimisation such as WDR, digital image stabilisation and privacy masking. WDR technology improves images captured in high-contrast scenes by ensuring details in both bright and dark areas are not lost, allowing all objects and individuals to be seen clearly. Digital image stabilisation ensures footage is consistently sharp by reducing motion blur, whilst privacy masking actively conceals private areas of the video stream.
A range of video analytics are included with this camera and they can be configured independently for each sensor – providing optimum flexibility and scene awareness. Users can be alerted by notifications such as email when motion is detected by the camera thanks to its configurable video motion detection alarms. Audio detection can also be set up if external audio equipment is connected via the camera’s built-in I/O connections. Furthermore, loitering detection allows users to detect suspicious dwell times in the viewing area and react to this, deterring undesirable behaviour.
With support for up to four MicroSD cards (cards not included), this unit is able to form a reliable data backup in the event of network failure, ensuring no important footage is lost. In smaller installations, video can be managed via the free Wisenet Viewer application, however, if a more sophisticated video management solution is required, users are able to purchase a licence for software such as Wisenet WAVE and Milestone XProtect, allowing management of all four video streams on a single camera licence.
With PoE+, power and network connectivity are provided over one cable for cost-effective installation. Wisestream II compression technology also saves money by reducing storage requirements and decreasing bandwidth by up to 99% when used with H.265 compression format. Furthermore, this robust unit is also equipped for use outdoors with IP66 protection against harsh weather and IK10-rated vandal resistance.
