This high-performance thermal camera is designed for reliable outdoor perimeter protection, providing 24/7 early detection even at long range. The high-resolution VGA 640x480 thermal imaging sensor enables consistent performance even in challenging lighting and weather conditions that normally would affect visibility. Users can choose from four different lens sizes offering horizontal views up to 63°, with variants suitable for a range of specific business needs. Different frame rates are also available, from 8.3 fps to 30 fps for ultra detailed video capture. Electronic image stabilisation (EIS) ensures a steady video stream at long distances, even if the camera is subject to vibrations from wind or machinery.

Engineered for outdoor environments, the camera's IP66/67 and IK10-rated casing protects it from harsh weather and vandalism. Two configurable I/O ports allow integration with external devices like alarms and speakers, enabling real-time response to detected events. Different thermal palettes can be applied to better distinguish heat sources, improving scene interpretation. The camera also comes with built-in motion detection analytics and supports third-party analytics integration, allowing for a more customised and advanced thermal detection system. The camera is wall-mountable without additional accessories.

Video Analytics

The preinstalled powerful analytics includes Axis Motion Guard, Fence Guard and Loitering Guard enabling users to run monitoring scenarios and receive alerts triggered by motion detection, virtual line crossing or loitering for enhanced detection and verification. The AI-based functionality of the device supports the use of the scalable Axis Perimeter Defender application for even greater detection capabilities, classifying humans and vehicles with minimal false alarms.

This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
