Built specifically for capturing outstanding image quality at extended distances, the Axis Q1809-LE excels at never missing details. Efficently monitor crowds and scenes with high levels of movement up to 30fps, with the 41MP image sensor providing ultra high-definition video in 8K resolution. The 3x zoom capabilities makes it ideal for identification purposes. Divide the image into 4 x 4K or 16 x 1080p sections so users can focus on individual sections in forensic detail. Even in poor and contrasting lighting this powerful camera still performs exceptionally, featuring WDR, Lightfinder 2.0 and OptimizedIR for night vision in complete darkness up to an impressive 100m range.

Robust and outdoor-ready, the IP66/67 and IK10 rated aluminium casing offers effective protection against vandalism and harsh weather, whilst still maintaining a smooth feed with EIS. Trigger external alarms via the I/O port upon detection of analytic events. Power an additional device via the PoE out port enabling the use of another camera alongside to increase coverage, or audio devices such as speakers or sirens.

Video Analytics

Receive alerts of moving objects within the scene thanks to the preinstalled Axis Video Motion Detection. This edge-based application analyses video directly on the camera, enabling real-time alerts of incidents so users can respond efficiently. It cleverly ignores ordinary background motion to reduce false alarms, and can filter out the movement of small animals and falling leaves. Tampering alarm detects if the device is being compromised through vandalism, and audio detection can be enabled through use of an external microphone.

This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling a greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
