Compact and versatile, the Axis M4216-V provides non-invasive monitoring of indoor areas and blends into a range of environments with its paintable exterior. This 4MP camera features AI-based analytics, thanks to the integrated deep learning processing unit (DLPU), providing more granular and intuitive object detection and classification than in cameras running a machine learning processor. This camera also includes Lightfinder technology, an HDMI output and vandal-resistant casing, making it ideal for use in retail, schools, offices or reception areas.
Delivering clear 4MP resolution video at 30 frames per second, and featuring a varifocal lens that offers views between 45° and 100°, this unit provides monitoring of narrow and wide spaces alike, making it a truly versatile model. WDR technology is included to compensate for shadows and overexposure in the camera’s view, whilst corridor format maximises area coverage and reduces bandwidth in narrow scenes by vertically orientating the video stream.
With its DLPU, this model can make use of a range of deep-learning analytics applications to enhance situational awareness, including Axis Object Analytics, which employs spatial awareness to provide highly accurate detection and allows you to define exactly what is detected in up to ten simultaneous detection scenarios for a tailored monitoring solution. The unit also features Axis Face Detector, Active tampering alarm and Axis Video Motion Detection for further event detection.
More specialist Axis applications and third-party applications are available to enhance the camera’s functionality and create a bespoke monitoring solution that fits your requirements.

Housed in IP42 water-resistant and IK08 vandal-resistant casing, this camera can be used in areas subject to water splashes or tampering. Installation is made simple with the help of remote zoom and focus capabilities, allowing users to adjust the viewing angle, even when the camera is installed in a hard-to-reach place. With support for PoE, this camera can receive power and network connectivity over one cable for cost-effective installation. The camera also allows a speaker and microphone to be connected via an I/O or T61 interface to support two-way audio in the camera’s field of view.
