Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, this proximity door reader works alongside Axis network door controllers and credentials to deliver a secure, safe and reliable access control system. The reader supports most types of smart RFID card and key fob standards using 13.56MHz credential technologies, including MIFARE cards. It is easy to install on walls and can be remotely managed by AXIS door controllers for new features and security updates. Rated IP65 and IK07 for effective weather and vandalism protection. An RGB LED light on the front of the unit indicates when the system is locked and unlocked.
Security
Built-in cybersecurity features help prevent unauthorised access and safeguard your system, including Secure Channel Protocol (SCP) and Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). The EAL6+ certified secure element hardware ensures all cryptographic keys are safe and securely stored. The device also includes a built-in tamper switch for detecting both open casing and attempts at removing the reader from the wall.
