Axis Camera Station Secure Entry is a scalable and future-proof access control management solution, included with all Axis Camera Station Pro licences. Designed for seamless integration, it supports up to 1000 doors and 64 servers in a multi-server system, making it ideal for both small and large-scale installations. The system can store up to 10,000 cardholders, each with up to five credentials, including cards, PINs, QR codes, and licence plates.

It supports Axis network door controllers (OSDP Verified) and Axis IP door readers. Vehicle access is enabled through cameras running Axis License Plate Verifier. Axis Camera Station Secure Entry integrates video and access control alerts for efficient security management. Event logs, reports, and cardholder video verification enhance tracking and identity confirmation. A graphical map interface simplifies oversight, while audit logs and custom action rules provide accountability and flexibility. Administrators can directly control doors with Access, Unlock, Lock, and Lockdown commands.

Advanced Access Control

For more advanced access control needs, Axis Camera Station Secure Entry offers configurable extended access times, automatic relocking based on door status, and the ability to override system card formats per reader for different configurations. First-person unlock schedules ensure doors remain locked until an authorised individual arrives, preventing unintended access to specific areas. Emergency functions allow doors to be set to a forced lock or unlock state, with administrators able to initiate a system-wide lockdown if required.

Security can be further enhanced with duress PINs that trigger silent alarms, zone-based anti-passback to prevent credential sharing, and two-person authentication requirements for high-security areas. Additional features like double-swipe door control, attendance tracking via roll call and mustering reports, and custom lock state toggling provide greater flexibility in managing access control.

Hardware

Axis Camera Station Secure Entry can run on correctly specified Windows PCs and servers via ACS Pro. For a complete and ready solution, Axis Camera Station NVRs and workstations are fully optimised for ACS Pro.

Licencing

As this application runs through Axis Camera Station Pro, a licence must be purchased to use this software. One Axis Camera Station licence is required per door controller.
