This is a compact, fixed dome IP camera with VGA resolution and H.264 video with impressive features for unobtrusive surveillance in demanding light conditions. The camera's Adaptive Black Stretch system enables capture of detail under high contrast lighting, making it ideal for surveilling building entrances or long corridors, while with electronic day/night, the camera captures colour video in daylight and monochrome when it's dark to improve sensitivity and increase brightness. Its 3D noise reduction feature also lowers the signal interference common in low-light surveillance and resulting in clearer footage.

Panasonic's Variable Image Quality on Specified areas feature can minimise bandwidth use by dropping image quality on pre-defined non-essential areas of the view, while maintaining video quality elsewhere. Additionally, the camera can detect faces in view, sending details to compatible recording systems. Footage can be monitored on the move through the mobile phone client which provides access to the camera via most mobile browsers, iPhones and iPads.
