Imaging and Optics
Fitted with a sensor that produces 4MP resolution video at up to 30 frames per second, even in high contrast light conditions, the U2142LA utilises Super Dynamic WDR to balance out over- and under-exposure and ensure all details can be seen clearly, increasing the chances of identifying individuals and objects. Identification and detailed capture are also improved by Colour night vision, providing full-colour imaging down to 0.019lux and when light levels reduce further, the IR LEDs engage to provide monochrome video in complete darkness. Additionally, intelligent Auto (iA) adjusts settings such as ISO and shutter speed relative to conditions, helping to reduce motion blur and show natural-looking video. The camera’s varifocal lens enables you to remotely adjust the horizontal viewing angle to your desired size between 44° and 102° and the camera feed can also be vertically orientated to maximise coverage when monitoring a narrow area.
With proactive monitoring as a priority, the i-PRO U2142LA includes video motion and scene change detection alarms that alert you, via email notification, to any events in the camera’s view. There is also an option to set a recording trigger that saves video of any detected event to the storage media of your choice.
