Imaging and Optics

Image quality and usability are strong points for this camera, with a 5MP sensor that captures footage at up to 30fps, the i-PRO U2140LA is the ideal choice for 24-hour surveillance at an affordable price. Full-colour images are produced, even in near darkness with colour night vision and when light levels fall below 0.019lux the IR LEDs will illuminate the scene up to 20m from the camera, producing clear monochrome images, even when there is no other light available.

Additionally, i-PRO's Super Dynamic WDR technology improves video captured in high-contrast scenes whilst their Intelligent Auto (iA) feature adjusts key camera settings automatically according to environmental conditions to reduce motion blur.

Equipped with a fixed 3.2mm lens, this model can capture wide horizontal views of 100° and has a vertical viewing angle of 54°, providing a large viewing area. The camera’s video stream can also be rotated when recording narrow areas such as hallways or aisles, maximising the coverage and reducing the redundant space captured.

Video Analytics

You can be immediately alerted to any potentially suspicious events, thanks to video motion detection and scene change detection algorithms built-in. These handy detection alarms notify you of any movement or tampering, or can be used in a supporting video management system (VMS) to raise alarms, start recordings, or perform other tasks. The camera can also begin recording to a storage media of your choice when an event is detected.
