Able to capture video 24 hours a day, the unit is equipped with features which mean it can operate, producing usablevideo for security purposes, 24 hours a day. The camera’s round-the-clock capture is made possible by its built-in IR LEDs and advanced imaging technologies that boost image usability in low light conditions. Designed for straightforward installation and low-cost upkeep, this camera also features support for PoE, SD card recording, and motorised zoom and focus capabilities, making it ideal for use in small businesses that need a simple surveillance system.
Imaging and Optics
Fitted with a sensor that produces 4MP resolution video at up to 30 frames per second, even in high contrast light conditions, the U2142LA utilises Super Dynamic WDR to balance out over- and under-exposure and ensure all details can be seen clearly, increasing the chances of identifying individuals and objects. Identification and detailed capture are also improved by Colour night vision, providing full-colour imaging down to 0.019lux and when light levels reduce further, the IR LEDs engage to provide monochrome video in complete darkness. Additionally, intelligent Auto (iA) adjusts settings such as ISO and shutter speed relative to conditions, helping to reduce motion blur and show natural-looking video. The camera’s varifocal lens enables you to remotely adjust the horizontal viewing angle to your desired size between 44° and 102° and the camera feed can also be vertically orientated to maximise coverage when monitoring a narrow area.
Video Analytics
With proactive monitoring as a priority, the i-PRO U2142LA includes video motion and scene change detection alarms that alert you, via email notification, to any events in the camera’s view. There is also an option to set a recording trigger that saves video of any detected event to the storage media of your choice.

Installation and Mounting Options
Putting ease of use at the forefront, this model features a 2.5x motorised zoom and focus, allowing you to easily set the viewing angle after the camera has been positioned. Powered by PoE, the unit recieves power and data through the same cable, reducing installation costs. With a weight of just 350g, a diameter of 129.5 mm, and the ability to operate in temperatures as low as -10 °C, this compact dome is suited to a wide range of indoor environments. Moreover, bandwidth levels are kept low with H.265 Smart Coding technology, which reduces storage requirements, without lowering image quality.
