Affordable and offering high levels of functionality, this indoor dome CCTV camera by i-PRO is pre-installed with a comprehensive range of imaging and cybersecurity features. These features include 'Super Dynamic' for WDR, Intelligent Auto (for automatic lighting adjustment) NDAA compliance, a FIPS 140-2 level 3 certified secure element, and GlobalSign certificates, optimising image reproduction and protecting the camera from unauthorised access to or alteration of data and firmware code. With a maximum power consumption of 5.8W, this model is energy efficient for low running costs and lower environmental impact, ideal for small indoor installations that require a lower maintenance system that doesn’t compromise on image usability.
Imaging and Optics
Equipped with a 2MP (HD 1080p) resolution sensor that captures video at up to 30 frames per second, the U2132LA includes a remotely adjustable varifocal lens with a horizontal viewing range of 42° – 97°, enabling you to set the right viewing angle for your application. With image usability as a key benefit, this camera is prepared for many different light conditions, thanks to its advanced imaging technologies. Colour night vision produces full-colour footage in low lighting, and when light levels dip below 0.006lux, IR LEDs can then be used to illuminate the view over a range of up to 30m, allowing details to be seen in complete darkness. Noise reduction and intelligent Auto (iA) also contribute to image clarity in difficult lighting, whilst Super Dynamic WDR balances out high contrast lighting to improve footage subject to over or under-exposure. Furthermore, using corridor mode, the video stream can be vertically orientated to help maximise area coverage and reduce bandwidth when monitoring narrow scenes.
Video Analytics
For reliable scene awareness, configurable detection alarms can alert you to motion or changes to the camera’s view via email notification or video management system integration. Recording can also be triggered to a connected recorder or SD card, enabling you to have a record of any events.
