This ultra-fast and feature-rich PTZ camera offers crisp and clear images of outdoor areas at extended distances, for detailed scene investigation in seconds. The 8MP image sensor captures smooth and detailed video in UHD 4K resolution up to 30fps, ideal for monitoring areas with high levels of movement such as city centres and crowds. Rapidly respond to incidents with 25x optical zoom and 700°/sec pan speed for an efficient and reliable surveillance solution. ExtremeWDR optimises scenes suffering from diverse lighting, with the alternative XNP-C9253R model featuring integrated WiseIR LEDs for night vision up to 200m.

Manually direct the camera towards areas of interest via your chosen VMS, or users can define up to 300 preset areas for the camera to patrol during scheduled guard tours. Consistently track moving objects with on-board AI-based video analytics which detect and classify objects with precise accuracy, even if they briefly disappear from view. AI Focus Save function utilises AI to retain focus settings when a preset view has been applied by the user, which speeds up focusing the camera when it revisits the preset, and retains the preset position over time. 

The robust IP66 and IK10-rated casing offers effective protection from rain and snow, whilst being resistant to vandalism. The spin dry, lens heater and defog functions maintain visibility in wet weather by keeping the lens clear for reliable performance in all seasons. The PTZ Plus form factor means it is compact and lightweight with simple cable routing, designed to be easy to install. The unit is powered by PoE+ (the XNP-C9253R is powered by PoE++ and includes an injector).

Video Analytics

Receive alerts from video analytic events capable of detecting and classifying objects with enhanced accuracy thanks to the on-board AI engine, minimising false alarms. The device easily identifies people and faces, vehicles and licence plates for early warning detection, and the granular functionality it has can can apply attribute types such as cars, buses, bikes and trucks to the recorded video and associated metadata.  Improve general perimeter security and develop actionable insights into business performance by running scenarios such as virtual line crossing, loitering warning and appear/disappear from view. Objects can be visualised on screen in colour-coded bounding boxes so operators can keep track of their movement, and the camera can be instructed to auto-track detected objects, following their movement even if they disappear from view for a brief moment.

Alarm inputs, audio detection (via external microphone) and sound classification analytics can be enabled via the optional Hanwha Vision SPM-4210 I/O box, allowing the unit to trigger external devices such as speakers and sirens on detection of user-defined events.
