The robust and IP67 rated Axis W120 is designed for reliable on-person recording in retail, healthcare, the police, security, and many other public-facing sectors where sensitive incidents may need to be documented. Its compact design means it can be easily clipped onto suitable clothing for mounting with additional harnesses and mounts available separately. A clear LCD screen shows information such as connection status and battery level. With a buffer of up to 120 seconds, direct live streaming can be activated at the click of a button, with live video streamed via cellular data. WiFi and bluetooth also enable real-time monitoring, as well as recording directly to your chosen VMS or the compatible Axis Body Worn Live software. Featuring a built-in USB-C port, the device can be charged on the go with up to 15 hours battery life per full charge, in addition to supporting connections for accessories such as sensors.
What's more, bodycams can be lost or stolen, especially during difficult interactions, and by streaming live footage you can be sure that incidents get recorded for evidence purposes.
Ensure important details aren't missed with the unit's 2.3mm fixed lens providing a horizontal field of view of 137° to capture wide angles of the scene, with HD video recorded in up to 25 fps. Electronic image stabilisation maintains steady footage, providing smooth and precise video when the camera is subject to vibrations, ideal for use in moving vehicles or on person when the user is walking or running. WDR optimises footage in contrasting lighting conditions, ensuring certain objects are not hidden in bright and dark areas as the camera moves between scenes.
The Axis W120's open-platform architecture means it can seamlessly integrate with the video or evidence management system of your choice, including Milestone XProtect, or a single-point monitoring solution can be provided by Axis Camera Station. Axis Zipstream for body worn lowers bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising video quality. Users can also take advantage of Axis Body Worn Assistant available on iPhone or Android that gives you instant access to stored recordings, with the Live View function assisting in situational control to assess areas in real-time.
