Designed for reliable on-person recording in retail, healthcare or transportation, the lightweight and compact W110 by Axis helps to deter negative behaviour and keep employees safe by documenting all interactions with customers and colleagues. This unique model offers an addition to Axis’ previous body worn cameras with network connection via WiFi, delivering real-time recording directly to your chosen VMS and is compatible with the Axis Body Worn Live application for real-time live streaming. A built-in microphone and speaker system enable you to record audio and play pre-recorded voice notifications to issue warnings or advice to people in your vicinity. You can easily activate recordings at the click of a button and there is also an option to activate recording on nearby wearables when one person activates their camera, ensuring nothing is missed when an incident occurs. Furthermore, Zipstream for body worn is included to reduce bandwidth without compromising image quality, making for smoother streaming and lower storage use.

Imaging and Optics

Delivering clear HD1080p resolution video at up to 30 fps, this body worn camera features a fixed 1.9mm lens with a wide horizontal view of 133°, enabling you to capture a large area of the scene during an encounter. High-contrast footage is improved with wide dynamic range technology. By ensuring details in both bright and dark areas are not lost, objects and individuals can be more easily identified. The unit also features electronic image stabilisation to provide smooth, precise video, even when the camera is subject to vibrations, ideal for use in transportation or when personnel are walking a shop floor.

Recording and Video Management

• W702 Docking Station enables you to offload footage and charge one body worn camera at a time – ideal for smaller businesses with a limited number of cameras
• Suitable for medium-sized applications, the W703 Docking Station allows you to offload and charge up to 8 x W110 cameras
• Axis Body Worn Live provides real-time video, audio and metadata streaming from all connected body worn cameras.
• Axis Camera Station video management software (VMS) enables you to create a unified management system that gets the most out of your Axis camera
• It is easy to integrate your body worn camera with Milestone XProtect video management software (VMS) using the Axis Optimizer Body Worn Extension for a more flexible management solution

Installation and Mounting Options

IP54-rated for protection against dust and water, the Axis W110 is designed with ease-of-use at the forefront. Available in two colours, allowing it to blend in, and easy docking and charging options, the unit is the ideal choice to document encounters in retail settings. The camera has a battery life of 7 hours, allowing it to last an entire shift, and also features an indicator light and voice message on activation to comply with GDPR laws. Furthermore, all footage is safeguarded with end-to-end encryption and advanced cybersecurity features.

The camera comes with the TW1106 magnet mount that enables the camera to be attached to any fabric. The TW1107 Magnet Mount is available separately and is compatible with Klick Fast mounts.

Please note: This camera cannot be used as a standalone product, it is designed to be used as part of the Axis Body Worn Solution which comprises of a camera(s), system controller, docking station, and VMS.
