Overview of the Axis T8353A microphone

Part of the Axis T83 range of compact professional microphones, the T8353A provides high-quality audio capture to complement indoor video monitoring or for demanding applications where non-invasive audio is mission-critical.

The Axis T8353A has a 3.5mm connector and is compatible with M-, P- and Q-line Axis network video products. The omnidirectional nature of this microphone means it does not need to be aimed directly at the source of sound in order to effectively capture audio.

The Axis T8353A microphone enables security staff to quickly assess events and the urgency level in any situation, for example shouting, abusive language or breakages, so that the appropriate action can be taken quickly. Audio capture through the T8353A also enables the camera to be used as an intercom to facilitate two-way conversation. Typically T8353A can be used as an interrogation room mic in a police station, in customs offices, or in detention centres.

This microphone can be mounted on a wall, ceiling or hard surface with the T8353 mount (sold separately - please select from the dropdown menu if required).
