Enabling users to extend their camera’s functionality by adding audio and I/O capabilities to Axis cameras, the Axis T6112 Mk II audio and I/O interface uses Portcast technology to seamlessly integrate audio and video onto one stream over a single IP address – requiring only one Ip address for both the interface and the camera. There are a range of possibilities with this device, including the integration of additional alarms or sensors to enhance scene awareness, or adding two-way audio capabilities to the camera. Furthermore, installation is straightforward as the device plugs straight into the camera and the network switch with one ethernet cable and can be situated anywhere between the two for flexible positioning.
