Enabling users to add value to their existing Axis camera installation, the Axis T6101 Mk II audio and I/O interface can connect via a single ethernet cable anywhere between a camera and a network switch to provide full audio and I/O capabilities. This handy unit can be used to enhance analytics detection by adding additional alarms or sensors via I/O ports for greater scene awareness. The interface also enables audio to be recorded and speakers to be connected to broadcast music or messages around the surveillance area. The T6101 Mk II makes use of Portcast technology to deliver seamlessly integrated audio and video over one IP address, meaning no additional VMS licences are required.
