The first Axis P-series PTZ camera to feature 200m of OptimisedIR, along with full pan/tilt functionality, 30x optical zoom and advanced imaging technologies, the Axis P5676-LE is well suited to outdoor areas with variable lighting.
The feature-packed 4MP P5676-LE by Axis is the first P series PTZ camera to include OptimisedIR technology. Illuminating up to 200m around the camera, even in complete darkness, the intelligent LEDs automatically adjust as the camera moves, avoiding reflections and glare that may obscure the lens, ensuring the entire field of view is evenly illuminated. With a frame rate of up to 50 fps, this unit is designed for use in high-traffic environments, with clear footage being captured even if the area is crowded or full of fast-moving objects. Moreover, this unique camera can be integrated with the Axis Q6100-E using the TP6901-E adapter (sold separately – please select from the accessories tab) to provide full 360° panoramic views in addition to this camera’s PTZ capabilities, all on a single network connection.
Equipped for smooth and efficient navigation across large locations, the P5676-LE features full pan/tilt functionality (360° endless pan/90° tilt), enabling floor-to-sky, full-circle views, whilst details can be inspected closely thanks to the unit’s 30x optical zoom. Additionally, focus recall is a handy feature that enables the camera to instantly focus and adapts to certain conditions at the click of a button, even if the camera is moved out of the predefined ‘focus recall area’ the camera will find its way back. Axis Object Analytics (AOA) is also preinstalled to intelligently analyse the scene and spatial behaviour of the objects within it, to detect and classify both humans and vehicles, enabling object-specific metadata to be gathered and tailored event triggers to be set.
The Axis P5676-LE provides highly reliable imaging in unsuitable conditions using advanced imaging technologies such as Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR and electronic image stabilisation (EIS). With increased light sensitivity when compared to its predecessor, Lightfinder 2.0 delivers clear, full-colour video in light levels as low as 0.1 lux. In strongly backlit environments, Forensic WDR balances the lighting and reduces noise, ensuring that details are not lost and objects can be more easily identified. Furthermore, when the camera is subject to vibrations or high winds, EIS stabilises footage and minimises blurring that could obscure the view.
As well as AOA, to provide a high level of scene awareness, this camera includes a range of additional analytics capabilities including video motion detection. Configurable motion detection alarms can be set to alert users of activity via email and it can also be used to trigger certain tasks such as starting a guard tour or moving the camera directly to a pre-set location, ensuring all activity is captured. Autotracking 2 is a useful feature that enables the camera to identify and follow a moving object around the field of view or a defined area, it also allows efficient motion-triggered recording to save bandwidth and storage space. Moreover, Advanced Gatekeeper is ideal for monitoring gates, entryways or areas prone to intrusion. It enables the camera to zoom in when an object appears near the gateway, capturing important identifying details such as facial features or clothing, and will then return to its original position after a preset amount of time.
Recording and video management options for this camera:
With advanced low-light performance, a range of analytics features and the ability to work with the Q6100-E multi-sensor camera, this intuitive PTZ is well-equipped for environments that require total situational awareness, 24 hours a day. Typical applications include car parks, outdoor shopping centres and zoos.
With support for both AC/DC power and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), this camera can be installed flexibly, whatever the power requirements. An advantage of using a PoE connection is the reduction in time and equipment needed for installation as all power and network connections are made through one cable. This camera is designed for reliable outdoor use as its casing features IP66 weather resistance and IK10 impact protection. Bandwidth and storage requirements are kept to a minimum, without compromising important footage, with Zipstream technology, whilst Axis’ built-in cybersecurity features protect the camera from unauthorised access and harmful code.
