This compact and vandal resistant multi-directional camera features dual camera heads with flexible positioning, each capable of 108°–40° horizontal viewing angle and outputting either dewarped or panoramic video and images. Two different directions can be monitored simultaneously, with both streams seamlessly stitched together for a complete wide-angle overview. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments such as hallways and building corners, 2 x 8MP sensors deliver 4K UHD videos from a single IP address. The varifocal lenses feature remote zoom and focus for easy setup and provide detailed coverage even of zoomed-in areas.

Images are optimised in demanding lighting with Lightfinder and Forensic WDR for improved clarity, whilst OptimizedIR produces monochrome images in full 360° up to 15m in complete darkness. Axis Object Analytics (AOA) comes preinstalled for advanced object detection, classification and analytics metadata. IP66/67 and IK10-rated, this camera can withstand harsh weather conditions and includes a weathershield so image quality isn't impacted by sun reflections or water drops. PoE support facilitates easy installation and reduced costs.

Video Analytics

Run intelligent AI-based video analytics such as motion detection and object classification on the edge thanks to the camera's built-in system-on-chip. With Axis Object Analytics (AOA) preinstalled, users can run up to 10 scenarios simultaneously, such as people and vehicle detection, line crossing, object in area and loitering detection. Objects are visualised in bounding boxes on-screen, with its separate Deep Learning CPU providing granular classification of humans, vehicles and types of vehicles alongside a searchable metadata stream (VMS dependent). AOA's AI-based algorithms minimise false alarms and allows operators to respond to important events in real-time. Furthermore, the forensic search capability delivered by the DLPU uses its metadata to facilitate fast and easy search through live and recorded video.

This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality of the camera to meet more distinct demands.
