Part of Axis’ range of robust, explosion-protected ATEX-rated cameras, the P1468-XLE bullet is certified for use in Zone 2 and Division 2 environments that are at risk of combustion. Capturing crisp 4K resolution video at up to 60fps, the camera is the ideal choice for monitoring fast-moving objects in factories, or flammable materials in grain terminals or petrochemical plants. Built on Axis’ powerful ARTPEC-8 chipset, the P1468-XLE includes a range of useful deep-learning analytics including smoke alerts for early detection of potential fires and Axis Object Analytics. Providing clear and reliable video capture in difficult lighting, this unit is equipped with advanced imaging technologies such as Lightfinder 2.0, forensic WDR and OptimisedIR.
The camera’s 6.2 – 12.9 mm varifocal lens allows you to set the desired horizontal viewing angle between 108˚ and 49˚, so you can focus on exactly what you require. Designed for round-the-clock use, this unit is built with an automatic IR-cut filter and can produce full-resolution, colour video in light levels down to 0.07 lx with Axis Lightfinder 2.0 technology. When lighting becomes insufficient, the OptimisedIR LEDs can engage to provide reflection-free monochrome footage up to 40m from the camera. Optimised for motion, Forensic WDR compensates for high-contrast lighting and reduces motion artefacts in busy scenes.
With a powerful chipset and support for deep-learning analytics on the edge, this camera offers you a highly customisable and accurate suite of analytics. Axis Object Analytics enables precise object detection and classification, with potential false alerts filtered out, ideal for identifying individuals in restricted areas. Up to 10 simultaneous detection scenarios are available and the metadata gathered from this detection can be used to speed up the review process. The built-in Smoke Detection is particularly useful as it can identify and alert you to early signs of fire, allowing you to act quickly before it becomes a problem. Furthermore, audio devices can be connected via the integrated I/O ports to enable audio detection and enhance scene awareness.

Zipstream compression technology with support for H.264 and H.265, offers reduced bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality. With cybersecurity as a priority, the camera features Axis Edge Vault to safeguard data from tampering or harmful software. This lightweight unit can be mounted directly on a wall or a ceiling with no additional accessories required.
