Camera
Part of the Axis P12 series, this modular IP camera consists of the Axis P12 Mk II main unit and a separate Axis FA1125 pinhole sensor to deliver discreet CCTV surveillance in HD resolution. Mounted discreetly at eye-level, the sensor will provide clear and detailed face shots, which can be important in many use cases.
Measuring less than 3cm in height, the ultra-compact sensor unit delivers high-quality HD 1080p resolution at up to 25 frames per second (fps). Designed for unobtrusive installation in areas with very limited space, fit the sensor behind a metal, glass or plastic panel that is up to 5cm thick - using the included bracket. For flexible installation options, the slim main unit can also be placed up to 8m away from the sensor using the detachable cable.
Imaging
Wide dynamic range (WDR) – Forensic Capture technology improves images captured by the camera by compensating for bright light and shadows in a scene to ensure individuals and objects are clearly visible throughout the image. In addition, Axis Corridor Format is included and helps to maximise the area of interest in narrow scenes by vertically orientating the video stream.
The free Axis Companion application can be installed and offers a simple video management solution for up to 16 IP cameras. Available as a PC client or mobile application for iOS and Android devices, this handy software offers remote access to live views as well as the playback of recordings.
A variety of motion-based alarms can be configured to trigger edge recording and alert users of activity via email notifications. Users can also receive these alerts directly and in real-time to their mobile devices using the Axis Companion mobile app, or any supporting video management system (VMS).
