The Axis M4317-PLR is a discreet, IK10-rated dome featuring 6 MP resolution and a stereographic lens, plus a raft of advanced technologies that delivers optimum quality in relation to video imaging, AI-driven analytics and cybersecurity hardening. Fitted to a ceiling of a vehicle it will produce, crisp, clear imagery throughout the day and helps to deter and investigate acts of crime and anti-social behaviour in public transport. This smart camera can deliver multiple 360° or 180° panoramic views at up to 30 frames per second with no blind spots. 

Imaging and Optics

Thanks to Axis Sharpdome 360 technology, Forensic WDR (to 120 dB), Lightfinder and built-in IR illumination with
individually controllable LEDs, the M4317-PLR provides reflection-free footage and high video quality even the most challenging of light condition, including when in complete darkness. Despite the fisheye lens, this camera provides clarity to the extremities of the image throughout, meaning that a large area within the vehicle can be monitored with just a single camera. Excellent situational awareness can be achieved using dewarped panorama, quad, or corridor views, whilst digital PTZ is available for investigating specific areas of the scene in more detail. 

Video Analytics

Built on ARTPEC-8, this hemispheric dome offers powerful AI-driven intelligence and deep learning analytics on the camera, enabling trigger conditions of up to ten different scenarios, whilst valuable metadata is generated by the camera to facilitate for forensic searches to be undertaken in both recorded or live CCTV footage. This speeds up the investigation of incidents and events that require further action.

Recording and Video Management

• MicroSD card recording on-board the camera in combination with any of the below video management options. Please note: MicroSD card not included with the camera.

Installation and Mounting Options

Delivered factory-focused, this camera includes digital roll functionality to remotely adjust the rotation of the camera overview. Impact resistant to IK10 and designed to absorb shocks and vibration, the M4217-PLR compact dome is designed for use in public transport, such as buses. With its IP66 outdoor rating the camera can also be installed externally if required. Simply installed with a single data cable, the camera has a built-in RJ45 connector and requires a low PoE power budget. This camera can be mounted directly to a flat surface, such as the ceiling or wall of a bus.
