Featuring an HDMI output port allows for the camera to directly connect to public viewing monitors to help deter unwanted behaviour or theft. Flexible by design, the Axis M4215-LV is suitable for use on business premises, in education, retail, hospitality and more.
Combining a 2 megapixel resolution sensor with advanced imaging technologies such as Axis Lightfinder and WDR, the M4215-LV will provide full-colour, crisp images at up to 30 frames per second even in near darkness. Equipped with Axis OptimisedIR the camera benefits from advanced IR LED technology ensuring optimal scene illumination when in complete darkness. The 3.5mm - 6.6mm varifocal lens provides a horizontal viewing angle of 93° wide to 47° narrow, whilst the vertical field of view measures 50° to 26°. Further features include Privacy Masking within the video to protect individuals' privacy as well as Corridor Format for full image usability when the camera is installed in corridors or hallways.
Axis Object Analytics is an AI-based object detection analytics that comes pre-installed on the camera. Easy to set up and configure in the camera, Axis Object Analytics enables you to choose what to detect, when and where. You can set up to detect humans in certain areas, or when an individual is loitering for too long, and configure up to ten different detection scenarios, which also include Line Crossing and Occupancy in Area. With Axis Object Analytics you will detect what you are looking for, whilst irrelevant events will be ignored and not cause you any disruptions.
In addition to Axis Object Analytics, the camera will also support other Axis applications as well as third-party applications, which enhances the camera's functionality further still. This is to meet more specific requirements that you may have.
Recording and video management options for this camera:
Vandal resistance rated to IK08 and fitted with an active tampering alarm the camera is well protected against impact and interference. Measuring just 120mm in diameter and 71mm in height this IP42-rated, compact dome is dust-proof and won't stand-out in any interior. The casing can be repainted to the colour you want without voiding the Axis warranty, providing repainting instructions are followed. The Axis M4215-LV is powered via PoE, features an HDMI output and has support for two-way audio and I/O connections via portcast technology. Built-in installation tools such as Pixel Counter, Remote Focus and Zoom, and Level Grid help with quick and precise image set up for optimum scene capture.
