Overview of the Axis M1034-W

Axis' HD resolution M1034-W wireless IP camera is ideal for entry-level surveillance with support for Wireless-Protected Setup (WPS), simplifying connection to Wi-Fi. This cameras includes support for multiple H.264 streams, 2-way audio (mic and speaker built-in) and claims to be the smallest and smartest IP camera there is. The camera's specification and capabilities belie its superb price.

Suited to 24-hour surveillance, the built-in PIR heat sensor can detect intrusion in complete darkness and illuminate the area using the integrated white-light LED and the built-in speaker and microphone provide operators with audio feeds to and from the site without the need for additional equipment. It can even be set to play an audio file when heat or motion is detected.

The camera's compact casing blends into its surroundings, allowing operators to monitor sensitive areas without drawing attention to itself. I/O connectivity also allows external triggers such as door switches or trip sensors to trigger camera events, or allow the camera to activate external devices such as alarms and lighting.
