The AXIS D2124-VE network radar delivers reliable, AI-powered detection and classification of humans and vehicles across expansive areas. Its 360° coverage and long-range detection enables 24/7 operation in all weather and lighting conditions, with low power consumption supporting efficient, continuous use. Designed for flexibility, it can operate as a standalone device or be paired with the AXIS Q6225-LE PTZ camera for automated object tracking and enhanced visual verification enabled by Axis Radar Autotracking for PTZ application. To further minimise false alarms, the optional double-knock feature requires visual verification of the radar alarm before triggering an event, helping you to focus on events that matter. What's more, with PoE out, there's no additional cable drop needed during installation. Designed to be mounted on poles or rooftops, the unit is IP66/67 and IK10 rated and radar image stabilisation technology ensures more accurate detections when subjected to vibrations, making this intelligent radar well suited to large-scale outdoor deployments.
Video Analytics
Built on ARTPEC-9, this advanced radar uses AI-powered radar analytics to detect and classify people and vehicles at long range, enabling early detection well before objects are clearly visible to cameras. Box-shaped detection and recognition zones allow precise coverage, helping to focus analytics on critical areas while reducing unnecessary triggers. When paired with the AXIS Q6225-LE PTZ camera, the radar supports AXIS Radar Autotracking for PTZ enabling automated PTZ tracking and reliable visual verification. Configurable virtual zones for line crossing, object-in-area, and occupancy detection further enhance situational awareness while minimising false alarms.
This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
