The AXIS D2123-VE network radar delivers reliable, AI-powered detection and classification of humans and vehicles across wide areas. Its 270° horizontal coverage and long-range detection enable 24/7 operation in all weather and lighting conditions, with low power consumption supporting efficient, continuous use. Designed for flexibility, it can operate as a standalone device or be paired with selected ARTPEC-9 PTZ cameras for advanced radar-video fusion, automated tracking, and enhanced visual verification. When integrated through radar pairing, the radar and camera share a single IP address and VMS licence, helping reduce system complexity. Installation is simple and secure using the AXIS T91G61 wall mount, with PoE support and compatibility with existing Axis PTZ mounting systems, making it well suited to large-scale outdoor deployments.
Built on ARTPEC-9, this advanced radar uses AI-powered radar analytics to detect and classify people and vehicles at long range, enabling early detection well before objects are clearly visible to cameras. Box-shaped detection and recognition zones allow precise coverage, helping to focus analytics on critical areas while reducing unnecessary triggers. When paired with selected ARTPEC-9 PTZ cameras, the radar supports AXIS Radar Autotracking for PTZ and radar-video fusion, enabling automated PTZ tracking and reliable visual verification. Configurable virtual zones for line crossing, object-in-area, and occupancy detection further enhance situational awareness while minimising false alarms.
This camera also supports other Axis and third-party applications, enabling greater functionality for the camera to meet more specialist demands.
