This versatile IP audio device combines sound, visuals, and motion-based detection to deliver clear announcements in indoor environments. With a speaker and graphical text display on each side, it ensures announcements are both seen and heard from multiple directions. Each speaker delivers loud, clear audio, while the twin displays can show scheduled or ad hoc text alerts. When idle, they display the current date and time. For added awareness, a flashing strobe light can be activated to draw attention to urgent messages. The device is capable of audio zoning, scheduling, and content prioritisation to allow urgent announcements to override pre-set audio. The built-in microphone supports audio capture and two-way communication, and the PIR sensor enables motion-triggered alerts ideal for use in secured or restricted-access areas. The device can be integrated into third-party mass notification systems to aid with lockdown procedures, helping to coordinate timely alerts and enhance on-site safety.
The device runs via PoE for convenient installation and reduced costs. The unit must be used with either the AXIS TC1604 wall mount (03185-001) or AXIS TC1604 ceiling mount (03186-001) for appropriate installation.
