Built-on an open platform design, the speaker can be integrated into already established systems with ease, working alongside a wide variety of video management software and Axis Audio Manager.
Audio Capabilities
Equipped with a 4inch dynamic cone speaker, 1.25inch dome tweeter and built-in amplifier, sounds can be produced up to 96 dB to ensure messages are clear, and the quality of background music is improved. Accessible via web browser locally or remotely, Axis Audio Manager Edge comes preinstalled so you can deliver live announcements, as well as set content, messages and alerts to be delivered at desired times, and within specified zones. Integration into an IP network with cameras connected can trigger audible alerts to be delivered upon visual detection by cameras.
Calibrate the speaker using the built-in microphone to perform remote health tests, which ensures the volume is set to the desired level for the application, useful in environments where the noise levels or occupancy can vary. In addition to full duplex two-way audio, its echo cancellation function improves audio clarity by recognising echoes produced by the loudspeaker, and removing them in real time.
Recording and Audio Management
Utilise the preinstalled Axis Audio Manager Edge for a user-friendly solution to content and zone management, scheduling and health monitoring of system errors. Compatiblity with the Axis C8310 Volume Controller allows users to adjust the speaker volume from a central point.
