The AXIS A9188 Network I/O Relay Module has 8 configurable I/O ports and 8 form C relays that use inputs from a host of AXIS network devices, such as PIR motion detectors or switches to trigger actions.
Suitable for indoor use, this unit is optimised for floor access management and is a handy tool when integrating AXIS Network Door Controllers into a new or pre-existing CCTV system. Additionally, this relay module can be used with AXIS IP cameras, motion detectors and other facility systems. For example, motion detection alerts can be used to trigger external alarms, open and close doors or reposition the focus of IP cameras.
The relay module is also built on an open platform and supports a range of AXIS software including VAPIX and AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP). Users also have the option to use it with AXIS Camera Station video management software, or other third-party applications. With support for Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+), this module can work as a standalone unit – powering I/O devices and increasing the functionality of AXIS network products.
Optimised for floor management systems, the AXIS A9188 uses 8 configurable I/Os and 8 form C relays to trigger additional actions from AXIS network devices - ideal for users that seek extra functionality from their IP cameras. Typical applications include office buildings, supermarkets and prisons.
