The Axis 247S is a high performance compact 1-port video server which will use your existing analogue video stream and digitize it for IP-based networks such as a local area network (LAN) or across the Internet. Because of its compact size, the Axis 247S has been designed for discretion or for installations where space is at a premium. It will deliver streaming video across the network at up to 25-30 frames per second at a maximum resolution of 704x576pixel (4CIF).

By means of a de-interlace filter, the Axis 247S eliminates the motion blurring problem you get with analogue video giving clear and crisp results. With one-way audio you can listen in on sounds where the video server is installed giving a better idea of what is going on in the camera’s location. This video server provides additional features for your analogue video camera such as a powerful alarm management system. Triggered by a wide range of events including motion/audio detection, loss of video or on a scheduled basis, alarms can be set up which will send images or simply text-based notifications when they have been triggered. Easy to install, the Axis 247S can be quickly wall or ceiling mounted and powered using a single standard Ethernet cable using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

Important: A Power over Ethernet (PoE) midspan is required to power this video encoder using PoE. Please select one from the options above if required.
