The Paxton Entry video intercom combines audio and video communication with access control features for a complete door entry unit. Staff can verify visitors visually and communicate before granting access, with entry also possible via PINs or authorised credentials using the built-in keypad and RFID reader. When used with Paxton Net2 systems using Paxton Net2 Pro management software, it integrates seamlessly into existing access control setups and is PoE-enabled for simple installation on the network. It is also SIP compatible, meaning you can use existing voice and video networks for enhanced communication flexibility
Visitors can initiate a video call using the bell button or gain entry using an authorised PIN or RFID credential. Staff can see and speak with visitors before access is granted, providing secure and controlled entry. The camera features pan/tilt, allowing staff to adjust the view for a clearer look at the area outside the door.
The Paxton Entry system is made up of three components - the intercom, entry answering unit and door controller. This simplifies installation and reduces setup time, and it can operate standalone or as part of a Paxton Net2 system allowing organisations to expand or integrate it into an existing access control setup. The intercom is surface-mounted and PoE-enabled allowing integration with existing network infrastructure. The IPX5-rated protective rain hood ensures reliable operation both indoors and outdoors.
