Overview of the Panasonic i-PRO WV-SW458
The Panasonic i-PRO WV-SW458 is a compact and unobtrusive 360° IP camera with a variety of advanced features all packed into an IP66-rated vandal resistant housing suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
360° coverage is available in various configurable modes and resolutions including double panorama, fisheye, 4-stream and single PTZ and all modes use the built-in image and distortion correction. Full coverage with no blind spots is ensured. Full HD 1080p at up to 30 fps and a 3.1 megapixel sensor mean this camera delivers smooth high resolution video and high quality images in all resolutions and all modes of operation.
Panasonic have integrated a raft of image processing capabilities including Super Dynamic technology which delivers the camera’s wide dynamic range and face detection capabilities, providing a camera that can be used in situations such as close-in monitoring of entrances and exits, all whilst still covering the whole room. Furthermore, its Intelligent Resolution technology automatically detects and optimises outlines and areas of fine texture and soft gradation to enhance image clarity and detail.
Two-way audio support (mic built-in, speaker separate) can enable interactive conversation between operator and camera and also enables the WV-SW458 to be used as an intercom. Audio, alongside multiple other methods, can be used to trigger recordings to SD card (not included), image transfers to FTP and email notification or other external actions.
