The Panasonic i-Pro WV-SW396 IP camera has HD720p resolution and is ideally suited to outdoor surveillance, with an IP66-rated housing that protects the camera from harsh weather and vandalism. With its auto-tracking and endless 360° panning range capabilities, plus a number of technologies to help capture clear, high-definition imagery, the WV-SW396 is useful for monitoring areas where high detail for recognition and identification purposes is critical.

Its Face Super Dynamic technology adjusts focus in order to ensure the clearest possible detail on facial features, allowing capture of detail which could be vital where recognition is required. Super Dynamic and Adaptive Black Stretch (ABS) technologies allow the camera to survey a wider visual range by using 128x wider dynamic range than a conventional VGA camera.

For round-the-clock surveillance, the WV-SW396 has a day/night mode that switches between full colour and black & white to ensure continued surveillance even in dark conditions. An on-board SD card slot provides an alternative recording solution in the event of network failure (SD card sold separately). The WV-SW396 is also compatible with Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), allowing the camera to receive power and network connectivity using a single cable.
