The Panasonic i-PRO WV-SPW532L offers a high quality and well specified feature-set at a very reasonable price. It's outdoor-ready and features a high sensitivity image sensor that delivers detailed, 1080p HD resolution images. The camera supports true day/night recording, enhanced by integrated infrared illumination which means it's suitable for round the clock monitoring. The inclusion of intelligent IR LEDs, Smart Coding Technology, on-board recording and integrated image processing make this a versatile and affordable HD bullet camera.
The camera's night vision range extends to 30m and the built-in LEDs use Panasonic's intelligent IR technology to automatically adapt output in low light and darkness to ensure optimum exposure of images. This model features Smart Coding technology which is designed to reduce bandwidth consumption by up to 60% and thus save on storage costs. Panasonic i-PRO achieve this by using an encoding algorithm that enhances the H.264 standard, whilst maintaining full compliance.
Image processing such as wide dynamic range (WDR), noise reduction, fog compensation and highlight compensation are all built in to improve the quality of images captured in challenging light conditions. Panasonic's Variable Image Quality on Specified Area (VIQS) technology is also included to allow the selective, high quality processing of user-defined areas within an image. All areas outside of this specified area are streamed in lower quality, thus reducing the file size of the stream.
The WV-SPW532L is a relatively compact fixed bullet camera, making it suitable for non-invasive surveillance in customer facing environments.
