Overview of the Panasonic i-Pro WV-SF538

The WV-SF538 provides outstanding video performance in demanding light environments. With 3.1-megapixel resolution, operators can capture detailed overviews and zoom in digitally for high pixel density close-up shots. Additionally, Panasonic's SuperDynamic and Adaptive black stretch features work together to provide 128x wider Dynamic Range than conventional cameras, allowing it to capture events under high contrast lighting conditions. The camera can also detect faces in view and automatically alter the image exposure for more definition on facial features.

For dark areas, Electrical Day/Night switching increases light sensitivity to brighten dark footage, while integrated noise reduction sharpens detail in low-light by lowering image noise. To reduce bandwidth, Panasonic's Variable Image Quality on Specified areas (VIQS) function can reduce the video stream bitrate by lowering quality on unnecessary sections of view. The WV-SF538 can also be installed quickly and easily, with its Automatic Back Focus capability accurately optimising the camera's focus during rapid deployment.
