This compact, single-channel network video encoder by Panasonic i-PRO provides cost-effective and simple migration from analogue CCTV to an IP-based video system - without the need to upgrade existing cameras. Additional features include support for H.264 compression format, alarm/event management and two-way audio.
The cost-effective unit supports the recording of video footage at up to 25 frames per second (fps) and users can compress files using either H.264 or JPEG compression formats. In addition, various video motion detection alarms can be configured to alert users of activity via notifications such as email.
An integrated RS485 port provides PTZ control via the web interface, allowing analogue cameras that feature pan-tilt-zoom functionality to be controlled efficiently. In addition, full duplex audio is also supported - enabling two-way communication with those close to the camera.
