Overview of Panasonic BB-HCM705

The Panasonic BB-HCM705 is a fixed dome megapixel security camera designed for unobtrusive monitoring of locations such as university campuses and retail stores. The camera's 1.3 megapixel sensor provides a detailed image that makes it easier to monitor busy environments or for facial identification. Alongside this, the BB-HCM705 features an EX Zoom feature, which allows you to zoom in on the image at a set resolution without compromising its quality. To reduce demands on your network, the camera employs H.264 video compression, significantly reducing the file size of the video feed.

As well as this, the BB-HCM705 features integrated motion, audio and shock alarms that can automatically activate recording and inform you via e-mail of activity. Footage can be stored remotely on the network or locally via an SD card (not supplied). Colour night view increases the brightness of the image during low light conditions (down to 3 lux) and a built-in microphone provides an audio feed of the camera's surroundings.

The BB-HCM705 is a Power over Ethernet camera. This means that the camera can be powered and connected to the network via just one cable, simplifying installation and reducing time and costs incurred.
