Overview of the i-PRO WV-SPV781L

This robust, outdoor-ready IP camera is capable of delivering 4K Ultra HD resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps). The unit supports true day/night recording with integrated infrared illumination, making it an ideal choice for round-the-clock surveillance of outdoor areas. Additional features include support for two-way audio, Power-over-Ethernet and on-board recording to SD card.

The camera is equipped with a 4.2mm - 25.2mm varifocal lens that enables the user to set optimum scene coverage during installation. This lens, in combination with the camera’s high sensitivity image sensor, can record full colour images in light levels as low as 0.3 lux. When light drops below this level, the IR cut filter technology will switch to monochrome recording – for efficient 24 hour surveillance. Additionally, the integrated IR LEDs enhance the camera’s night-vision range up to 30m.

i-PRO’s cropping function supports up to 4 selectable regions which can be viewed alongside the original image. The user can monitor these areas of interest whilst continuing to record the whole scene, help retain overall situational awareness.

The unit can support full duplex, two-way audio when a microphone and speaker (not included) are connected via the audio I/O ports. This allows communication with those in the scene and can be used to deliver verbal warnings when investigating events in real-time.

A range of imaging technologies help the camera to deliver sharp, detailed footage in a variety of lighting conditions. Wide dynamic range compensates for bright light and shadows in a scene to ensure individuals and objects are clearly visible throughout the image. Additionally, highlight compensation technology reduces strong light sources to prevent over exposure.

Up to 4 programmable video motion detection areas can be configured to help provide reliable security monitoring. Notifications can be sent to the user when motion is detected and additional external devices can be connected via the alarm I/O ports for enhanced alarm signalling.

Variable Image Quality on Specified Area (VIQS) technology allows eight designated areas of the image to retain higher image quality whilst all other areas are streamed in lower quality. This technique helps to reduce image file size and bit-rate.

Power-over-Ethernet support (PoE) simplifies installation and maintenance and by using edge-based storage (SD card not included) the camera can be used as a standalone unit.
