Perfectly suited to small-scale operations, the QRN-830S from Hanwha Vision is an ideal entry-level network video recorder capable of supporting up to 8 cameras, with its integrated PoE switch reducing the need for extra cables during installation. Designed to operate as a standalone unit, it offers support for a local monitor and mouse, meaning a PC is not required for use. View live camera feeds, play back recorded footage, and export video all with the Wisenet Viewer software, a user-friendly video management software (VMS) included with the NVR.
Capable of delivering ultra-high definition 4K resolution live video and playback up to 60 frames per second, the QRN-830S can support up to 8 Hanwha Vision cameras up to 8MP, ideal for users concerned with monitoring areas with high levels of movement, with video being written to local internal storage in the form of a single HDD bay with capacity for up to 6TB (HDD not included).
The included Wisenet Viewer software allows users to monitor and control their video feeds with basic features such as record, playback and search, as well as providing remote access for mobile users. If your system requires a VMS with more advanced and customisable features, Wisenet WAVE is available via subscription. Furthermore, snapshots and video clips can be exported via one of two USB ports for further investigation at a later date.
When used in conjunction with compatible Hanwha Vision cameras, video analytics events including motion detection, virtual line crossing and tampering can be integrated into the NVR to trigger customisable events in the form of notifications, PTZ presets, alarm out and more, overall increasing situational awareness and resulting in faster responses to incidents. Moreover, support for audio-based detection is also included with the connection of an audio-enabled camera, to respond to concerning sounds in the detection area.
Measuring just 300mm x 47.6mm x 238.9mm, the compact form-factor of this NVR lends itself to unobtrusive desktop use, making it ideal for a wide array of applications such as cafes, retail stores, and dental practices. The system can easily be setup using the installation wizard, with PoE connection for cameras reducing the number of cables needed.
Please note: This Hanwha Vision NVR does not come supplied with HDDs unless selected. An optional 6TB WD Purple surveillance-grade hard drive (fitting required) can be selected from the dropdown menu above for internal storage, or the NVR can be purchased as a drive-less unit to use your own HDDs. These drives are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications, and the optional disk is sized to offer adequate storage for common use cases.
